As a small business, we have always valued our customers and done our best to ensure your protection and preserve your safety. With the Covid-19 virus issues currently facing us, we are very aware that our customers are concerned, particularly those who are more mature and those with chronic medical conditions. We have always had anti-bacterial hand sanitizer gels and wipes in our lobby; this will continue. We clean commonly used surfaces in our office with disinfecting wipes that are known to be effective against the virus and have increased the frequency of cleaning – this includes pens and clipboards, our coffee and water dispensers, door handles, etc. We have contacted our landlord about the public restrooms and they have assured us they are being regularly cleaned AND disinfected. They are working on a solution to the shortage of paper hand towels in the public restroom, and, until the problem is fixed, we have paper towels which we are happy to provide to you. We do not come to the office when we are sick and kindly ask that you do the same – we are always happy to reschedule your appointment and for existing clients, we may be able to take care of business over the telephone in some cases. The main change to our business operations will be that we will no longer shake your hand as a business greeting, we will be cleaning more frequently and we may ask to wipe your smart phone with a disinfecting wipe before we look at something you have asked us to review or print out and may more openly use hand sanitizer/wipes. We are monitoring and following the advice provided by the Kitsap Public Health District, KitsapPublicHealth.org and the World Health Organization, www.who.int/docs/default-source/coronaviruse/getting-workplace-ready-for-covid-19.pdf?sfvrsn=359a81e7_6 Hopefully this will pass quickly. |
