DIANE F. RUSSELL
Diane's commitment to client service, professionalism and community involvement sets a high standard in the legal profession.
Diane has twice been recognized as a Rising Star in the Washington Law & Politics magazine, a recognition for young professionals with the talent to make it to the top of their field who are age 40 and under. She has served as a faculty advisor for the Career Prosecutor Course put on by the National College for District Attorneys in Houston, Texas. She was presented the Professionalism Award by her peers in the Kitsap County Bar Association in 2010, recognizing her sustained excellence in the practice of law.
She serves as Judge Pro Tempore in Kitsap County Superior Court, has instructed university legal courses and lectured state-wide on employment law issues.
She has been a trustee with the Kitsap County Bar Association, president and vice president of the Washington Women Lawyers, Kitsap County Chapter and a board member and president of the Silverdale Chamber of Commerce.
Diane received her mediation certificate in 2004 from the Institute for Conflict Management in Santa Monica, California.
Diane has practiced law since 1986, including six years with the Kitsap County Prosecuting Attorney's Office, and thirteen years with Rob Beattie (formerly Beattie::Russell, Inc. PS). She started her solo practice in 2007.
In her free time, she enjoys hiking, photography, traveling, cooking, wine tasting, and supporting the Seattle Seahawks. She is the momma to Spanky.
